Jarin is playing on the same stream as Isaiah Abraham above now.
Bye Davis
It’s the first quarter and Kon already has 14 points…
Austin Williford’s TTO team is kicking the crap out of Skill Factory minus Jacob Wilkins. Somewhere J Willy is clapping up a storm.
For as incredible as Kon was in the first quarter, he’s been pretty awful this third quarter. They are guarding him harder now and he’s struggling shooting over the length a little.
As I typed that he had a patented Joe Harris “jump in the air to shoot but then pass mid air to a post player who is already turned around for the offensive rebound” turnover.
Me watching our recruits highlight videos:
Me watching our recruits AAU live streams:
Edit- This isn’t to say these guys aren’t good. More just about how ROUGH AAU games are to watch, no matter the talent level. Also a reminder that many of these guys(90+%), despite their insane talent, are still a ways away in their development.
Maybe @HoozGotNext knows for real, but also welcome other wild speculation
With things like the PG recruiting, do the kids get offended if schools are going after multiple kids at the same position hard? Like is there a detriment to putting the pressure on Davis, Richardson, and Bliss and basically saying “we like all of you, we need to build a roster so whomever commits is our pg of the future?”
Odell Hodge was a pretty darn good player for ODU.
Follow up on this:
Me in Intel Report Threads- “I don’t understand our lack of involvement with PG’s, we have to get one at some point”
Me watching EYBL Streams- “Oh okay that’s why, lol”
My take away from that game is Kon Knueppel is Kon Knueppel lol. We know his strengths and weaknesses already.
6’6 Sam Hauser, a little more assertive and a better play maker for others but still probably going to play the 4/3 and hide him.
The more I watch Kon and Abraham, the larger desire I have for us to get both(I know that’s not happening). I feel like they’d compliment each other perfectly. Kon is a guy who can really shoot it but lacks upside to be a plus defender for us. Abraham on the other hand is a plus defender and athlete…. But probably suspect offensively.
Having a pipeline of scorers in Mckneely, Rohde, and Kon and a pipeline of wing defenders in Dunn, Bond, and Abraham is fun to think about.
I have a feeling Villanova is going to be sending this clip to Christian Bliss. And that along with him growing up a Villanova fan is why we should at least offer Ty Davis and Jase Richardson, even if we still have a chance or feel like a really good chance of landing Bliss.
Grew up a Villanova fan, culture still seems strong there, and two Villanova players on the knicks continuing that strong Villanova presence on a NY kid who grew up in Big East country. And also trying to sell a spot behind Dante Harris and Andrew Rohde, whereas Villanova still has no true pg on the roster I believe. And Davis, who seems to really want to be at UVA, would seem like the kid more willing to develop behind Rohde and Dante.
Also not mentioned in the tweet regarding Jase Richardson’s 9/12 fg performance, 4 assists to 1 turnover. 0-1 from 3 though.
Reece (will probably trend back to being a top 30-40 kid).
If we can’t get both Kon and Abraham then give me Davis/Abraham or Jase/Kon.
Alternatively Jase as the pg, Ty Davis as the wing since we are at our best with 3 pgs on the floor?
Odell Hodge was a beast. He had 20 pts 7 rebs in UHall vs UVA’s front line of Junior Burrough, Chris Alexander, and Yuri Barnes. Not often that Junior or Yuri could get pushed around.
How is this kid not already in the top 50: Matthew Hodge

Dare I say, a more mobile and fluid moving/bouncy but not as physical Isaac Traudt? How is this kid not even a 3 star. He does have offers from Maryland, Penn State, and Seton Hall already as well as interest from Villanova. And he plays for team Belgium over the summers so he’s technically an international kid which helps us with our international quota.
From NYC area/plays in the same league as Roselle Catholic ( UNC’s Simeon Wilcher, that former Duke commit who committed to Indiana today)
Hodge had a really good game today. Bliss didn’t shoot much (3-6 from the field but 6 assists to 1 turnover).
More of that Hodge kid
Yeah after seeing this tweet and the IG clip, I’m in on Hodge.
