5pm Team Takeover (Isaiah Abraham) vs. Team Herro (Milan Momcilovic)
6:30pm: TJ Power vs Justin Edwards. An interesting matchup.
Pretty sure this has been a done deal for a while. His AAU team has already recruited a couple PGs to replace him.
$1M for 2 years is the number I heard back on non-announcement day.

Saw where Duke offered Xavier Booker. He’s been on some people’s wishlists around here…

So, did Virginia extend an offer to Elijah Gertrude, or not? Just a wee bit curious if the staff is ahead of the field. Again!
No just in contact. It was a slip up on 247’s part to make the interest an offer on his profile. But he is someone one our radar this summer (Wilkins follows him on instagram).

How the Hell does Duke even have space? Don’t they already have 5 2023 commits?
Also it feels like just yesterday Hoozgotnext was mentioning Xavier Booker, saying he goes to the same highschool as transfer target Armaan Franklin and our recruitment of franklin could get our foot in the door there. Fast forward to 5 months ago and many coaches saying they question his drive and motor and feel like the 80 ranking is appropriate. Fast forward to 3 days ago where 247 has him as the #4 player in the 2023 class. lol
Also London Johnson tanked in the rankings. Now #45. Apparently not our wheelhouse LOL

Did London Johnson ever tell the super hilarious story he promised about uva fans stressing over his non commitment date?

Yes he did, went something like….’man I was all ready to commit to UVA and someone offered me a cool mil…..damn that was close. Whew, hysterical right?’

After 1 quarter, Justin Edwards is good. Good luck to him and the million or so Tennessee will give him. But still like how TJ power looks.
Really a shame TJ Power only has one assist in the box score. He should have like 9. His teammates are less than great lol. Reid Ducharme is a chucker.
Also watching this game, I am not a fan of our approach of going for a “bucket getter” at the one spot. Ball movement and finding the open man is so important and the best part of UVA basketball over they years has been seeing Perrantes, Jerome, and Reece lead the team and the incredible passes they make. 5 times I counted. TJ power was wide open and not even that far from the action. How do we expect someone transitioning to a pg to make those plays? Just get shooters at the 2-3 and get a floor general at the 1 and we will be more than fine.

Reid Ducharme… 3-13 and Christopher Norman equally as bad… those stats make me think of guys getting so pressured that they were just dribble driving head down and throwing some shat up…

Thats literally what happened. While TJ Power sat open for those Hauser corner 3s. Ridiculous

These 2 Wisconsin guys appear to be pretty good. Do we have interest in them?

Bronny James vs DJ Wagner. Probably going to be a horrible quality game but props to Louisville fans showing up to show Wagner love to help with the recruitment
