0-2 from 3 so far but both in and out.
TJ looks like Napoleon Dynamite. Another plus.

Repeat of his first game today. Struggling early. He does have two assists which the box score for some reason isn’t showing. Will be interesting to see if he makes the same adjustments vs the athleticism/they play him in the middle of the zone vs that shot blocking center.
Edit: Shooting performance is Hauser vs Ohio so far. But atleast when his shot isn’t falling he brings other things to the table. Box score only shows 3 assists but he has atleast two more. And his defense has been really good at the rim contesting shots.
Tuned in for a few minutes and he was throwing the ball around a bit loosely. One or two bad passes. A reckless oop or two. A bit long on his threes.
That said, I totally see it. He’s not an elite athlete, but he’s got good size, great height, and can get his shot. Plus he’s very fluid as his highlights have shown.

Yeah definitely not his best game but you still see something you can work with, with a lot of potential.

Whew! That was a really nice play. Backing his guy down, pass to the perimeter, quick pass back, quick turnaround J.
Hauser-esque, but at 1.5 speed, but also at less accuracy.
Man kids in AAU really don’t want to kick out to open shooters in the corner.

A lot of your turn, my turn.
The only one kicking out to the open shooters ironically is TJ Power. The one who should do the shooting. (just did it right now for an easy assist.)
After a rough first half, TJ is now 4-4 from the field in the 3rd quarter (stupid box score) for 11 pts. was 0-5 for 2 points in the first half.

TJ Power out of the game. No idea if he’s coming back in up 15 with 8 minutes left. First time Ive seen him not on the floor, he’s play all the minutes for his team so far.
Edit: and he’s back in. 20 second bench rest lol
Maybe he really will be the next Kihei Clark.

That beautiful turn around jumper and the foul. 2nd time this half. Man he would be such a huge get.
Looks like Power is done. 14 pts, 4 rebounds, should be 6 assists but box score shows 4. 1-3 from 3 and 5-11 from the floor. Much better after that 0-5 from the floor start.

Anyone we got interest in playing now?
Of the names we know?
3:30 Tafara Team Melo, 2024 Isaiah Abraham Team Takeover, All Ohio team has a few names that Getter follows but nothing mentioned in interviews or tweets of a UVA connection.
5pm slots: Edgerrin James and Sam Walters on Florida Rebels, Elijah Gertrude vs Bronnie James,
6:30: Milan Momcilovic, Jaydon Young, (and Amani Hansberry but not important lol)
Thats the rest for today.

Gapare has a great highlight tape, but when I watch him live, he sure seems like he has a wide range of outcomes.

Perfect way to put it. He shows flashes where you are like “yeah this dude’s probably gonna be a pro” but the production is lacking to where I question if a team would take him 2 years from now. Yeah they draft on potential, but you still gotta produced atleast a little (im watching the takeover game btw, just because of Abraham’s potential)

On that last basket he scored i watched him. Made no effort to get at the basket. It just bounced out to him. He showed his athleticism by getting the ball but no effort was made to get in rebounding position
