My Transfer Portal Wishlist
Hopefully 1 Bucket Getter (guys with eligibility that are 20ppg+ scorers right now)
Doesn’t mean all of these guys transfer and many won’t but if would love to get at least 1 guy like this. We may not bring Pitino here but would be thrilled to get a Donovan Dent if we wanted to jump up to HM. If I can get 2, bang for my buck would be Donovan Dent and Bashir Jr.
Pretty sure Abdi Bashir Jr already committed to Auburn or is going there with his brother.
I’m fearful of just raw stats 20 ppg scorer. If there was a high volume scorer who could enter, Id want young Peja. Kyle Guy work your connection with the Kings please
Dent would likely be just as pricey if not pricier than Burton. He’s the best mid major guard in the country and has some draft buzz.

Yep, plenty of guys on that list that probably won’t fit but calling out Dent was mainly from the scoring and distribution ability and a guy like Bashir Jr. that scorers on high volume 3’s feels pretty transferable. There are some names in there that are like 6’0, shooting below 30% from 3, so those would not be ideals.
Also I saw juco Bashir going to Auburn but is this guy related to him? Nothing about a brother on is Monmouth page
I might be getting my names mixed up but the auburn commits are also from the same area. Maybe all related? idk

A glass crashing big that will actually get rebounds and ideally buy us some additional possession on the offensive glass (guys with eligibility that are 6’8+ and averaging above 9 rpg but with 2.5+ orpg)
Give me 1 of these guys to go alongside whatever we keep in bigs since rebounding was a huge struggle.
