To be fair we coulda landed Williford kids like Ven Lubin or Isaiah Abraham if we had pushed for them. And did just land Chance.
JWilly bleeds orange and blue. Iâd hate to see him go and hope he stays. He was ( sorry Fresh) my favorite player when he was here. Did all the little things, hustled like hell and didnât take crap from anyone. Maybe itâs the last thing that might keep him from the head coach job? Too passionate? Heâs old school and, in my mind, would definitely have gotten the job 25 years ago, but things have changed. The question is, has JWILLY? I wouldnât mind UVA giving him a shot.

Iâd push back on 4, but maybe not call it ego⌠I do think he thinks his pillars are worthy of prioritizing and wants that legacy to carry on, not because of himself, but because of its intrinsic value
I hope it was clear to them both well before this that Ron was âseniorâ associate HC. If not, this is a situation that can lead to tension and awkwardness. One guy gets to be HC this year and make a case for the permanent position, and the other guy has no chance of even being a candidate.

Tbh, who gives a fuck. Theyâre all making lower mid six figures to play fantasy CBB. They can figure it out. Everyone guaranteed outside of the young guys will land on their feet outside of this program if it comes down to it.
