We won a title when we sat Jay Huff. Kihei was always a complimentary player to two strong guards who could shoot. They’re not a nucleus. We’re pretending as if we haven’t holding the program’s progress hostage for the past 2, soon to be 3 seasons by not admitting that. Next year: Reece, Carson, Jar, TM III and Papi, with Taine and who ever else off the bench. Let’s stop pretending we can win a title with a 3 guard rotation that can’t shoot. FFS.

I don’t know if he can and I don’t know if he’ll be successful. He may be a terrible NBA coach, but I think he’ll be offered multiple opportunities to try and he may take one of them.
He’s a competitive guy who likes challenges and chances to beat the best. We all say that his style or coaching philosophy won’t work in the NBA, but do you think he believes that? Or do you think he believes that he could make it work given the right franchise? I see a confident, competitive guy who doesn’t back down from a challenge or adversity.
When the league removes the draft age restriction and teams have to start scouting high schoolers more seriously, he could spend as much time watching teenagers play as his heart desires and no ones going to tell him to stop because he’s not allowed to do that.

There are glaring issues to fix, mainly in terms of individual creation and shot ability. Everything should be on the table this off-season. There is not a single starting position that should be assumed next year, which is good.

Nah fanfic. Was coached by Cade Lemcke (wahoowa) at Blue Ridge and just hoping he sees the light that Brownell can’t give him the exposure or development he needs.

I would imagine coaches have individual meetings with players either tomorrow or Tuesday then we begin to hear the decisions (if any) in the next few days after. Should have a good idea of what we have/potentially need by end of week, definitely should be down pat by end of tournament.
