I could ałso see him going to play professionally overseas, as he’ll be 24 in August. He’s from France and had to sit his first year and then after being named the American freshman of the year as a redshirt frosh, he missed his sophomore season with an injury.
By giving them the same rules that most other sports have? How is that a punishment?

I mean having everyone go through the same thing means it isn’t a punishment. The other sports allowing it just show the transfer rule isn’t a problem. If there is a problem it’s the money and instant gratification culture that has built up around the 5 sports the rules are changing for.
I was going to state the same. We will have to adjust as well. It may be somewhat difficult to find players with the patience we have benefited from in the past. Fortunately, we are recognized as a developmental program for transfers as well.
You nailed it! I do think there tends to be more of an Instant Gratification culture within Basketball, Tennis, etc. These sports tend to be more individual accentuated.
Eason is one that immediately jumped out to me because he fits what they want. But there’s no relationship as far as I know and he’s from Seattle so assumptions are he heads back to the west coast. High motor great athlete at the 4 spot. 1.2 steals 1.3 blocks 2.3 ORs in 20 minutes per game.
What sports are you referring tu. Than ask yourself how much money they make and their popularity. Thats why its different.

No he committed after the coaching change
Eason played at my daughter’s high school, Garfield - same as J’raan Brooks, whom we recruited a few years ago, so there is a connection - at minimum from that and Bennett’s relationships in the state from his time at WSU. And, of course, Harris’ visibility in Washington is pretty good right now.
Eason was pretty high potential then as at least a complementary player - haven’t seen him play recently.
It’s gonna be weird next year when we roll out a starting line up of Reece Beekman, Jay Heath, Trey Murphy, Justin McKoy, Walker Kessler with Jabri, Kadin, Seth Lundy, Carson, and Tari Eason off the bench

Joshua Langford I dont think is going to do a 6th year in college. Also Joey is a good player individually (he’s has some really good games where he has shown his talent) but I don’t think he is what we are looking for at the 4 and 5 after this year.
We need athletes and players who can let murphy play at the 3. That being said if Joey does decide to transfer again and we pursue, I wouldn’t be mad at all if we got him.
