4-3 Dook now in the top of the 5th after an RBI triple.
Buchanan took a bit of a bad route on the ball, not sure if LF is his natural position (he played a lot of RF in the fall) but he’s a bit of an adventure out there.

5-3 Dook RBI single brings in the runner from 3rd.
6-3 Dook in the top of the 6th, RBI double scores the runner from 1st.
7-3 Dook, RBI triple this time over Teel’s head in CF.
Apparently Cofie, Sharma, Saunders, and Power are at this game.
Their flight to Stanford got delayed so nothing better to do I guess
9-3 Dook after 6 1/2 complete. Just another shit performance so far.
We’re a softball school now.
9-5 Dook now after 7 complete.
Is there a baseball NIT?
Dook wins 9-5 to take the opener of the series and improves to 14-9 (3-4) on the season. Hoos fall to 12-8 (3-4).
We’ll see you tomorrow 4 PM EST as UVA tries to even up the series.
Ugh. I 100% thought the team might end up with 8 losses on the entire season this year. Ah well, sometimes things don’t come together.

Not a fan of the lineup today, but we’ll see how it goes.
Dook up 4-0 in the 2nd.
Oak has his work cut out for him — in this game, and the season, too.
Deja vue all over again.
I’m typically verrrrrrrrry reluctant to say things are shit with our baseball team, because there’s a bunch of different examples of us looking awful only to turn things around. And there’s definitely still time for us to right the ship this season.
But I think now is the time where you consider hitting the panic button. Shit’s just not working even with our coaching staff trying out different players and different lineups.
5-0 Dook after 2 1/2 complete.
Its almost April so we are running out of time to see a turnaround. Still holding out hope but it is getting really old to see essentially the same game over and over. Give up early runs leave a bunch of runners on base. Try to catch up and ultimately fall short.
I will openly admit even the last 10 minutes Oak has forgotten more about the sport than I’ll ever know or learn in a lifetime but I really don’t understand why he hasn’t and didn’t ride with the unit that was producing… Chone James and Buchanan (I know he’s DH) sparked the offense. And I thought they played better when Godbout moved to 3B…
Idk but it’s getting close to that point now where we gotta talk about turning it around as opposed to saying don’t sweat it’s early…
