Dook run rules the Hoos 13-2 in 7 to take the series. Blue Devils improve to 15-9 (4-4), UVA falls to 12-9 (3-5).

I’m not sure I can remember a year (including football or hoops) where preseason expectations were so far off from actual performance. Very disappointing.

12-5 Dook still top 7. Got it to within one run and then fuckin melted down.
Season is getting pretty close to a lost cause.
At some point, Oak should bench Hanson, Didawick, Ference and platoon the first- and second-years.

Dook wins 13-6 to complete the sweep and improve to 16-9 (5-4) on the season. Hoos fall to 12-10 (3-6).

First time in the 118 year series Duke has ever gotten the sweep. Things are beginning to look dire at the dish.

They swept us in 1994 and 1998 — both at Duke. Three-game series didn’t start until 1990. Plenty of two-game sweeps before then though.

Agree, time to bench the deadwood, and play for the future. Time to clean house on some of the assistants, some have been at UVa too long.
