Iā€™m all for the transfer portal and NIL as concepts, players should be allowed basic freedoms. But the combo of both at the same time does seem to create quite the clusterfuck, hopefully with more time and understanding of how to make everything work things will balance out to where itā€™s no longer the Wild West that weā€™re seeing now.

Day pretty much said that McCord wasnā€™t automatically keeping his starter job. Probably knew it was time to get a fresh start if he wants to start his last year of eligibility and earn some of that 1 to 1.5 to 2 mil of NIL money that Ruhle was talking about to get a good QB.
