Oh imma go in
The UNC fan who posted that charge call at half court isnāt wrong though ⦠that was a terrible call that helped us and helped turn the momentum going into halftime⦠one of few though
Their point is Kihei is a bad defender. That call doesnāt make him a bad defender. It makes the ref bad at his job.
Also, Kihei knows college refs call that all the time. And he gets that call all the time. So that kinda makes him a smart defender.
I disagree. UNC guy sprinted to a spot and Kihei met him there. 50-50 call. Meaning I wouldnt debate either call the ref made, not that I disagree with you
Theyāre starting to get like Auburn fans when Rothstein tweets āVirginia Basketball. A think of beauty.ā Itās hilarious to see. Last time I checked, Steph wasnāt sitting court side at the Dean Dome to watch a game.
Since the Houston game, which is when I feel that McKneely started playing with more confidence, heās averaging 7.5 ppg and shooting 43% from 3.
His development has continued to raise our ceiling. I would bet my mortgage on him averaging 10+ next year
Itās a good bet. We will need all of it I think. He is learning at a fast rate, just like Dunn.
Oh yea over 10 easy. Heās still learning
Isaac will get a ton of looks from 3 next year, especially if Armaan leaves. Not sure if itāll be on Kyle Guy levels of averaging 6-7 3pt attempts per game, but I think it has the potential to be close if he continues to shoot it at a similar clip. Key for him will be adding enough strength to where defenders have to consistently respect his ability to straight line drive to the rim, adding that element to his game will open up a lot more space for him on the perimeter as well as get us a few extra points at the FT line.
Isaac will avg at least 13 next year.
Iād like to see him extend the range a bit. He has plenty of leg strength ā¦
I would take the over if Armaan doesnāt come back. Under if he does (think 11-12ish)
He has plenty of rangeā¦
Remember, Pistol Pete did it in THREE years. Freshmen werenāt eligible then.
And while playing in ankle weights.
In three inches of snow during the winter.
Just realized thereās a world where we lose all 5 starters and Iām still bullish as can be about our future. Obvious in that scenario weād have a tougher time next year but would be so interesting to watch play out in the portal
I wonāt be fully convinced that Kihei is no longer on the team until I donāt see him on the floor for the opening tip next season.
Oh you will be convinced when signs to play in China or Taiwan.
