Exactly, both Ken and Bart have us splitting the final 8.
For sure. Torvik puts us and FSU as a toss up, which I was kind of surprised to see. That doesnât account for our recent trends, but at the same time, FSU has been playing better in that window (73rd vs. 83rd) even though they are 2-3.

Well yeah, but thatâs more on the coaches to draft a game plan and keep the team motivated leading up to those bigger games. We as fans donât have to worry about that.

I think you can plan better for Duke than UNC. Lots of things will have to go right against The Heels to sneak that one

I largely do agree with this. But Iâm just conditioned to expect that we win home games against UNC and that we lose road games against Duke.
Fun fact- I donât think UNC has won in Charlottesville since 2012. Someone may need to double check my research. But holy moly.

T-ranketology has us as a 9 seed and now up to 87.9% chance the make the tournament. IIRC we were at 27 or 28% before the Clemson game

It was said already, but can we look to Florida State before thinking about UNC and Duke? I understand everyone is excited about our upward trajectory, but one game at a time seems reasonable to me. Right now, how do we matchup with Florida State and get that win? It would be a nice win on the road given how they have been in conference play.

Lol Belinda I think weâre all worried about FSU. Weâre just positing which game left on the schedule is the toughest.
I suspect the board will be a ball of nerves for Saturday in due time. It is nice to have a little break though

Yeah and I donât think the team is overlooking FSU either, especially given Tonyâs general struggles against Leonard Hamilton and his squad of extraordinarily tall gentlemen.

Good point. When the Brogdon-Atkins year happened Darion hadnât already won one. Plus Malcolm was a lock to make 1st team All ACC and expected to make an All American team so it made sense to spread the love. No sure thing Dunn will win anything nationally unless we make a move up the rankings

I canât decide if it would be better or not if it was totally open to multiple players from the same team. You might get a splitting the vote situation, but I guess that is true for all teams?
Maybe the solution is ranked choice voting, but for silly sports awards.

With this being a draft where there isnât a franchise prospect, if Ryan shot the 3 (and FTâs) now like DeAndre did when he got drafted, weâd be talking about Ryan as the potential #1 overall.
