Dead horse at this point, but one that ought to be beat still. Even from a revenue perspective, look at any crowd at JPJ - way more of the old style jerseys despite less availability for a couple of years now. No way I would ever spend a dime on or wear the contemporary jerseys over any other jersey (menās or womenās) sold or worn by Virginia at any point. Look up uninspiring in a dictionary and youāll see a pic of our current unis. Anyone w any access to a person w Bennett & staffs ear needs to continue to pound this drum.

where does one buy authentic UVA basketball jerseys? You used to be able to get game shorts, jerseys, jackets, shooting shirts, etc. but when you go to the old store its a āFanaticsā page now. They donāt seem to have any of that anymore.

Those of us who hate the current uniforms are epistemologically justified and righteous in our continuous beatings of said dead horse.

Tonyās never been asked once in a coaches corner or press conference about doing a throwback alternate jersey or in changing the uniforms. Heās probably never heard the criticism. And for those that say itās not up to him, he could get a throwback jersey in a day if he wanted it

I can think of no concern more meaningless than that of Virginiaās current uniforms. Thereās nothing wrong with them. If someone doesnāt like them, then thatās a question of taste. Thatās okay. If they continuously harp on them, then that suggests that they have a seriously maladjusted set of priorities.

Iāve bought several game worn jerseys on eBay from a user called UVANILSUX.
I dunno, they look and smell game worn.
I hate these jerseys, and Iāll never stop saying it! Nobody can stop me.

I bet heās heard it. JWilly answered a Q about this on his show once and seemed to be pro-alternates, but if I recall correctly, suggested that TB was an old-school āhome and away onlyā guy about jerseys.

In all seriousness, this isnāt some trite talking point, and pointing it out doesnāt distract from the āmore serious priorities.ā From the menās uniforms to the Cav man logo, a fan base should make itself heard in these regards. There is such a thing as objectively bad taste, and Iād also be curious how merchandise sales are affected, or how they could be better maximized with better branding. Brand matters

As someone who doesnāt have a strong opinion one way or another about the new jerseys, I can tell you that the fan base absolutely makes itself heard. There is A LOT of public conversation about this I see all the time.
I can also tell you that the best way to make yourself heard is not on a message board. I know this because I asked my wife if she liked the joke I posted on the message boards the other day and she walked out of the house.
