Itâs not the colors that make me sad. Itâs that the old jerseys had the faded rotundas on the back and I thought that was such a cool and unique touch. Individual flair and personality to the jerseys.
The ones currently are literally generic nike jerseys. Like the hokie jersey is literally the same as ours but just color swapped.

Precisely - these uniforms inspired and had character that was deeply personal to the University. Not a lazy cookie cutter cut and paste.
