Depends who we beat. We need Q1 wins so UNC, VT or WF. ND could possibly get there too. Worst case is there are upsets and we play 2 Q3 games.

Won by 1, lost by 4. I wouldn’t fear Duke in the ACCT. It’d be tough, but we seem to match up better against them. Or get up more to play them.

Yeah, we definitely want to be on the bottom of that bracket. If you just switch Miami to beating VPI, we’d get Clemson, Miami, and ND as our path to the final.
I’d rather have that scenario and get Duke in the ACCT final.
If we win 5 in a row and lose in the final to Duke, I think we’d have a shot (though probably not that high).

Caffaro/Shedrick 1-6, no FTs tonite versus 11-14 (22 points) and 2-2 from the line in the first game. The over 6 minute stretch with 0 points midway in the 1st half is again a killer (3 TOS, 3 missed 3s in that stretch). Just not much margin of error for this team to win. Need to take care of business against FSU and Louisville, then win 2 in the tourney (although we could win it with a good draw - I don’t want to play UNC) and hope that the mid majors do not have many upset conference tourney winners.

I know we absolutely own Louisville but that final game worries me for some reason. I feel better about the first few tournament games than at Louisville.

I’m just really bummed because I really want this team to have a shot in the tourney. They’re just a fun team and grinders. I know there’s still a path but man, this was a huge opportunity. Oh well.
Regardless, very proud of this team. Let’s hope they don’t have an emotional let down against FSU.
