Man this actually sucks if he is going to get fired. I liked having him and the Ville as Villains. He was cocky, a bit brash, and demonstrative, and it’s always great to shut those teams down with a little Uva magic.

But he’s not a BYU alum. I’m sure it’ll be harder to convince him to leave now that they are headed to the Big 12 but Pope’s not a lock BYU lifer. UK is probably a bigger reason he wouldn’t take Louisville than him being at his religion’s flagship school.

Um- why bring up Breonna Taylor protests when it has nothing to do with basketball? There is no need to try and undermine that cause and cite it as a negative and relate it to Louisville donors.

Umm the context was that athletic donors withdrew because their basketball players participated in Breonna Taylor protests. So it is basketball related?
I’m just saying that’s a pretty effed up reason to withdraw funds and speaks to the backward-ness of some of their fanbase.

Their fanbase on all forums is all about Pearl or Musselman. They don’t want any “mid major projects”. Small vocal minority also serious about wanting to rehire Pitino short term.

There’s a tiny part of me that wouldn’t mind Bruce Pearl because it would give us the opportunity to beat him… but no. Keep him away from here.
