Lost the 3rd quarter 24-6. That is uhâ wild.

UVA basically just stopped hitting shots in the 2nd half. They got plenty of open looks, just nothing went in. The possession where UVA missed 4 in a row from within 2â of the hoop was Q4, but it encapsulated the half perfectly. And then Pitt had a stretch in Q3 where they hit everything. Part of it was Pitt getting great looks from good ball movement, but they hit the tightly contested outside shots, too.
Mo tried to will the team to victory at the end but didnât quite get there.
Just disastrous.
Edit - Also, Taylor left the game early with a knee injury. Stayed on the sidelines but didnât come back into the game.

Man I love the energy coach mox brings and still ahead of my âmake the NIT by year 3, make the NCAA tournament by year 4-5â goal.
But the playstyle is kinda atrocious. Streetball but to the extreme. Like Worse than a lot of the typical undisciplined offenders Ive mocked over the years in mens college basketball.
I thought a lot of it last season was Vallady but itâs kinda just the way they are coached. Relentless pushing the ball. and a lot of chucking.
Itâs like when watching Gertrude for a few minutes and you see he is just rushing a lot and excited but thatâs normal for a college freshman, especially one who is used to going. But take that and make a whole team, including upperclassmen, like that.
