Seems like our perimeter rotation is well stocked with talent with Mo, Yonta, O, Clark, etc. Need our tall folks to be effective/healthy.
Yeah agreed. Her going full hero ball at the start of possessions wouldâve been a bit easier to stomach if she didnât miss so many relatively easy layups. Mo I think is gonna be a revelation for the offense much in the way that LP was when he arrived as a 1st year for TB.
Backcourt projects to be much stronger. I canât wait to see what role O carves out on this team. 6â3" guard that can create a lot of matchup problems. Watched her play a bunch for Louisa. My hometown plus my Cousinâs daughter played on the state championship team.
donât typically come here to promote content, but wanted to throw our womenâs basketball beat writerâs story from last night in here. pumped for him to be on the beat this year, think heâs gonna do great work:
Nice piece.
Jk nice piece
I think the improvements to depth and the backcourt are going to be huge. PGs who can initiate offense and control a game will be a big difference. Also having shot makers on the perimeter will be a massive asset.
Agreed all around.
And lol thanks Dragon. Been too long. Realized I needed to check some of my own takes about the menâs team, and thereâs no better place to do so haha
Any chance Jayâs sister Mia Woolfolk comes here? Sheâs a top 100 in the 24 class. 6â3â post player.
At the, surprisingly, urging of my wife we just picked up season tickets for the womenâs games. I knew they were inexpensive but even so was genuinely shocked at how cheap they were.
What were they if you donât mind me asking? I got lower bowl tickets for when the womenâs team comes to Atlanta for 7 bucks a piece i was shocked
I think my season tickets were $75. For general-admission seating (which at womenâs games is still great), they were like $50. Iâll spend more than that on concessions.
$80/seat and thatâs because we splurged on good seats.
During Ryanâs waning days, I took the girls and one of their friends to see a womenâs game (well, a bunch of them). One time, for an ACC game, we had a chance to get the seats along the court right next to the hoop. Was a little terrifying sitting there with 3 little kids but it worked out great and we got to hand out of bounds balls back to the refs a bunch which was fun⌠By far the best seats Iâve ever bought for a sporting event (I threw out the first pitch at. uVA baseball game one time but that was different) and it was $20/seat.
Agree on the baseline thing! Last year I got baseline seats for one game when my wife and daughter wanted to go. It was so fun sitting that close! (My daughter got to throw one loose ball back. A small thing but itâs cool.) A great thing to do at least once, especially with your kids.
Yeah, absolutely. Totally different world. Like, you can see the players sweating and hear them yelling to each other, you can really see how tall and fast they are, and even hear some of what the coach is telling the players during time-outs. Amazing experience, would highly recommend.
We took the kids this year to the first day of the ACC tournament in Greensboro for $1 a ticket and sat first row mid court on the floor. That was for the full day session. My boys remarked multiple times how big the guys were.
Any time you have a chance to get to the first day itâs really cool the access you have ⌠got to chat with Cory Alexander too in between games.
Reminder to all that the Women kick off their season tonight against Maryland - Eastern Shore. 7pm Eastern at JPJ, airing on ACCNX.
Not on espn+ (sometimes its ACCNX/espn+ and sometimes its only ACCNX like today)
Praying hootv comes up clutch #beatLSU
Iâm seeing it show up on the ESPN app, both on my phone and on AppleTV. Maybe when 4 oâclock rolls around Iâll get an error message but for now Iâm crossing my fingers Iâll be able to stream it.
slow start. Rebounds
