ISSAC McNeeley - just loved the way his confidence and game have grown to the point that he understands he must hunt his shot, both outside and inside the circle. He now knows that when he gets inside the defense, good things are going to happen more often than not. I expect him to continue to score at a high rate for us.

I think the biggest mistake the coaching staff made last night was the last play of the first half. You’re coming out of a timeout.

Why not bring in a lineup of Beekman as a creator/iso with McKneely, Groves and Murray (two in the corners and one to fill and replace), with Dunn in for pnr or a slip to the rim on backside action — give yourself multiple options rather than having Harris as Option B from the top of the key?

I love that Dante can get to the lane almost anytime he wants. Anyone know how hard it would be for him to learn to stop his drive and pull up at 8 feet to dish/shoot rather than go all the way to the rim and get swatted?

We need Kihei to give Dante some private tutoring. By his 5th year Kihei had a lot of tricks in his bag for finishing in the paint. Until then, Dante needs to view the pass as his first, second, and third options. He’s great at finding guys, terrible at putting the ball in the basket.

After watching last nights game (and Clemson and Miami) I must admit I was fully wrong about this team. It’s wholly turned the corner and is definitely a tournament team, and could be a very good one at that
