True, not surprised the Mannings arenāt screaming or shouting about it Arch, but thought Iād throw it out there especially when I see quotes like the one above from Cooper.
Bust quarterbacks is nothing new. Itās a massive step from high school even at the highest levels to top of the NCAA. Like you said Manning has the curse of being a Manning. If he was Jonson heād be QB1 at Tulane and lighting it up probably.
Sometimes itās not even the players fault or fully on the player for their collapse. Nico was fine last year but his busting came from shaking down Tenn, and then landing in a dumpster fire. I think weāll see a different story from him when he travels to Berkley next fall.
I donāt know how Drew Allar is still a starter.
Cadeās issue Iām willing to place some of the blame on scheme and play calling.
I donāt think that was meant to be backhanded. A family that famous probably appreciates a school that has normalcy in its culture. Also, I like this screen grab from the FSU game - the basketball guys are just regular guys in the student section.
Idk I think Arch would be larger than life at UVA. That name is gonna be massive anywhere, and if anything I think it would be amplified because everyone and their mother at UVA would know him, when a majority of uva student body canāt name 3 football players, unlike SEC student bodies
15 is a hard score to get. But I guess it makes sense: when weāre up 31-7 in the fourth, and UL gets a TD, theyāll go for 2. (Then our backups will put another TD on the board.)
Im expecting a loss for no other reason than I canāt imagine a scenario where UVA football is 5-1 heading into a remaining schedule as cake as ours. Weāre hitting way too good to be true territory and I canāt see it. So Iām expecting the football gods to intervene because weāre not allowed to be that happy.
If we do win, Iām going to reach happiness levels over UVA football previously never achieved
