🏀 Virginia vs Holy Cross, W, 67-41, 5-2 (0-0 ACC), Friday, 29 November 2024, 1600, ACCNX

I mean everyone on here including LRA said this would be a rough year. I think 20 wins is attainable for this team. I keep it real and not lowering anything by any means.

Under 16 wins and I am being a a positive poster moving forward @HoozGotNext. Would be shocked if we get to 20. But I’m rooting for it. Need some confidence and swagger from coaches/players/program. That’s what recruits want to see and so do the alumni. I’m ready for some electricity.

Valid points man! This board is awesome with how freely people are allowed to speak. Keep being yourself and go hoos!

You should have listened to Ames’ postgame. He has swagger for days. Just need him to rub off on the others.

I love Dai Dai. Need more of that. Haven’t listened but I will. Enough of the whole polite and nice thing that we do.

Just embrace the Rohde roll.

Its okay to admit when you’re wrong. It happens to most of us.

I don’t think you’re any more negative about this season than the average Hoo here though. Maybe more specific about it haha

You are too big and strong for me to argue in person - because we met this summer. So I will give you respect and love. So I will argue behind the international world wide web that may or may not being infiltrated by Putin or Musk or President Xi Jinping

But watch what happens when we start playing against real teams. In real conferences. I hope he goes off and kills it. But last year they put the weakest defender on him. This year they will put a mildly better defender on him when we play real teams. I’m rooting for him because I love being wrong when I’m really right. I believe @haney feels the same way about being right.

Lastly, I am rooting for him and everyone.

Certainly our best performance in the Q4 games this year. I thought it was a fairly complete performance on defense. Didn’t give up much inside or outside, good on the boards today, and just generally calmer, more controlled in some ways on that end. Offense was OK, I like that they were trying to generate threes, especially for IMac.

Was going to order Dominoes but now I’m eating baby carrots and hummus. It’s a 3/10 at best. I’m trying.

But I’m going to make a couple ham egg and cheese sandwiches in the next 20 minutes.

I might put some stuffing on it from yesterday.

Will probably heat up a small bowl of mashed potatoes with butter and sour cream.

And definitely taking a big chunk of mac & cheese from the casserole dish.

But it started with carrots and hummus. Remember that. Go Hoos!

Ronchez said in post game presser that Bliss is “closer” to returning and got some practice in this week.

Tonight is one of those games when if you want to see signs of hope, you found it. But against Holy Cross, it requires faith because it’s Holy Cross. They’re the least athletic team we’ll see. If you only watched tonight, you’d think UVA runs their stuff well and has 3 really good guards. I’m in the show me against a real team camp but gotta admit tonight was the first time they looked competent.

I like the downshift…Cofie only played center, Power mostly played the 4. They even mixed in a 4 guard look briefly. Again though like against Manhattan, it might only be because the opponent was small. So, we’ll see. They’re a lot better offensive team playing that way. And I think they need to sell out on being as good offensively as they can when it comes to personnel and lineup decisions.

They have as many nattys as we do.

Its cool you’re a rabid anti-rohdite and it’s haters like you that have held Rohdes down for centuries.

Rohde is about to avg 12 4 2 this season

Cousy was good in the second half with his fancy behind the back dribbles….

Shout out to Mr Cousy who I grew up with and Fresh spent some time with too. He’s a legend.
