Up until now, the knock on this team is that we haven’t played anybody, so who knows how good we really are? Well, after this result, I think it’s time to accept that this team is for real. Barring a major stumble against UNCW on Sunday, I think we’ll be (barely) ranked next week – and deserve to be.

I was curious about Brunelle. I watched her at ND and she got off to a solid start but then the coaching change and the injuries derailed her. However, I was always unclear was it more the injuries and scheme change or her game.
We may never the answer of what could have been when it comes to her game. At this point I think the injuries have taken their toll and what we currently see is kind of where she stands. A solid role player who can be a knock down shooter. Watching her move around the court, her mobility is seriously limited. I also don’t think she can stay healthy long enough to be a workhorse player. I’m not sure Sam is an ideal fit for this team with the pace and style of play the Hoos seem to favor. But she is a great resource and a calming influence to have on a young team.

This is the McKenna Dale game! She has 20 points and we’re only midway through the third. Almost outscored UNCW (22 points) on her own.
Love that we have so many players that can step up. I have a feeling a Cady Pauley game is not far off.
